1. Total students in the department: 130 approx. (2nd year to final year)
2. EI introduced in Hindustan Institute of Technology And Management (formerly Babu Mohanlal Arya Smarak Engineering College): 2006
3. First batch will pass in the year 2010.
4. Conducted a 2-day workshop (24th & 25th Sept 2009) on Robotics in collaboration with MITBOTS, an IIT-Delhi alumni association.
5. Annual cultural & Technical departmental event named “FALCON” started in the year 2007 with with great enthusiasm, zeal & excitement. In 2008 FALCON forum of EI opened its feathers with a participation of 280 contestents (inter departmental) & in 2009 with a mega participation of 350 + students (inter departmental).

8. All Labs are being shared by EC & EE department.
